Ashlee Wiley is a proud member of the Communication Studies Department graduating Class of 2007. Ashlee also minored in Political Science and African-American studies. Ashlee’s Communication Studies’ merits include, Lambda Pi Eta Communication Studies Honors Society member, Vice-President of the Association of Black Communicators and Journalist and the distinguished honor of speaking at the Class of 2007, Communication Studies commencement ceremony.
Ashlee’s Communication Studies degree has proven indispensable toward her future career and educational goals. Since graduating, Ashlee has taken advantage of her organizational, interpersonal, ethical, business and public relation skills learned through her former major as an Executive Director Assistant at a local organization and sales consultant at Nordstrom.
In the fall, she will be attending North Carolina Central University School of Law to pursue a Juris Doctorate Degree. Ultimately, accomplishing her goal of becoming a successful civil litigator, family/child advocacy attorney or corporate lawyer. She accredits much of her success to her faith, support of her family and the teaching, guidance, interdisciplinary curriculum and cohesive nature of the Communication Studies Department.
