Caroline Blair graduated with honors from UNCG in 2006 with a double major in Media Studies and Communication Studies. She attended UNC-Greensboro on a full athletic scholarship for basketball, where she played all four years. As a Spartan, Caroline also acted as a starter and team captain, was on the Southern Conference All Academic team, the Student-athlete Advisory Council for Intercollegiate Athletics, and a member of the Golden Chain Honor Society.
During her last year in college Caroline interned for NBC in New York, and Fox 8, WGHP in High Point, North Carolina. While at WGHP, she took a job as a Media Editor and stayed with the company for 8 months following graduation. She then perused an on-air position acting as Georgia Bureau Chief for WCTV, the CBS station in Tallahassee, Florida. There Caroline was a Reporter and fill-in Anchor for a year and a half, performing daily live shots and covering breaking news in more than a dozen counties. In 2008, she took a Reporter position with News 14 Carolina in Greensboro, where she covered stories close to home, and close to her heart. In 2011, Caroline also began Reporting for ABC 45, WXLV in Greensboro, where she turned stories and performed daily live shots for the program.
In the Spring of 2012, Caroline accepted a position with News 14 Carolina in Raleigh where she now resides. She is the main weekend night Anchor for the state of North Carolina, and covers hard news stories in the field during the week. She still enjoys being active, running, playing sports and reading a good book. Caroline is and will always be a Spartan at heart!
