Chelii Broussard – B.A. 2001

Chelii Mona Broussard has pursued her dream as the Marketing and Promotional Director/Homecoming Coordinator of Campus Life a Winston-Salem State University due to her degree in Communication Studies her at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Prior to graduating, Ms. Broussard began interning with Entercom Radio under the direction of Mr. Brian Douglas, Program Director of 102 Jamz WJMH, and Grassroots Productions through the guidance of its founder Ms. Betty Cone.

Ms. Broussard utilized her Communication Studies degree and intern experience by becoming a radio personality from 2003-2007 and stage manager and producer from 2002-present. Communication Studies became the necessary bridge through theories such as interpersonal, small group and team, social and cultural, relational, and ethics.

Remarkably, the theorems and concepts instilled in me from wonderful professors such as Dr. Pete Kellett, Sharon Bracci, Elizabeth Natalle, and David Carlone have stayed with me and continue to guide and motivate me throughout this journey called life.
