Miranda Cassady – B.A. 2002

A graduate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Communication Studies, Miranda Cassady provides a wealth of communications knowledge and expertise as the Director of Marketing and Publications for 98.7 Simon- Entercom Communications. In her exciting position, Miranda works closely with the station Program Director and Account Executives to develop, negotiate, and execute targeted marketing strategies that create successful branding initiatives for both the station and its advertising clients.

Additionally, she creates integrated marketing proposals based on thorough demographic research for local and national clients, as well as concert promoters, community organizations, and other sponsorship opportunities. Another important aspect of Miranda’s position is writing copy and posting event and community information on the station’s website, as well as designing the station’s electronic newsletter, which reaches over 12,000 people. She also stays busy managing the station’s internship program.

Miranda is also a member of the Greensboro Jaycees, the Greater Greensboro Chi Omega Alumnae Association, and serves as the Marketing/Public Relations Chair for both the Junior League of Greensboro and the Rockingham County Animal Shelter. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, Billy, playing tennis, reading, and walking her dogs, Bella and Lily.
