Toni Patterson, a 2001 Communication Studies graduate from UNCG has enjoyed a rewarding career in the fields of advertising and promotion for more seven years. Having served behind the scenes in the areas of television and print communication, she has created marketing and promotional pieces for business owners and on-air producers. In addition, Ms. Patterson has written promotions that have helped increase audience awareness for both locally and nationally televised shows. Her most exciting feats include, serving on collaborative committees for several major promotional events including ABC’s Extreme Makeover Casting Call (2003) and the Reading Rainbow’s Young Writer’s and Illustrator’s Competition (2007-2008).
In addition to Toni’s day job, this UNCG alum uses her interpersonal communication skills to help career seekers unleash their moneymaking potential through career development services from an independent firm. She plans to make this her full-time career upon graduating from NC State with a Master’s in Training and Development.
